We think Clarissa is a Shepherd mix, but whatever her mix is, she has lots of wiry hair around her face and legs. It just adds to her overall appeal. She was shy when she first came to us from the Stockton Shelter, but she has blossomed into a lovely girl. She is playful with other dogs and is friendly with people. She is about a year old and weighs about 55 lbs. Clarissa was suffering from poor nutrition when she came, believed to be a calcium deficiency which affects her stance. This is being remedied with calcium supplements and we are confident that she will be a beauty with strong healthy bones in no time at all.
