Moe: What can we tell you about Moe. He is a Doodle, he is house trained, he likes other dogs, he is big …..really big. He enjoys longwalks, smelling the roses, spending time with our volunteers. Working with our trainer. He would suit a family that will spend quality time with him. He will need DAILY GROOMING. This means a family member willing to spend at least 30 mins daily brushing the tangles out removing the debris leaves, fox tails and anything else that attaches to his coat. You will also need to have the resources yo have him groomed every two to three months the cost would be around $80.00 per visit. Dogs that are not groomed end up as matted smelly messes, that are uncomfortable (painful) they get hot spots and can not help being unclean because their urine and feces clings to their fur.
PLEASE DO YOUR HOMEWORK, before you consider adopting a dog that needs regular grooming. MAKE SURE YOU CAN AFFORD THE COST.
Having said all of this the family that adopts Moe is a lucky family. He is a special dog!
