Katisa is shaved down, you need to use your imagination to realize what a beautiful purebred schnauzer she really is. She came to us, as alot of shelter dogs do, uncared for and full of matts. Where possible we will comb them out so the dogs can keep thier hair, but in Katisa's case she was so badly matted to the skin there was no option but to shave her down. She has forgiven us her indignity and is feeling much more comfortable being able to move without the knots pulling on her skin.

Katisa is a  schnauzer to the core of her being, playful, energetic, loving, and sometimes vocal. She listens well, would be a fine companion for any fun loving family.She would do best in a home with a yard as she is a schnauzer, enough said. Schnauzers are great at agility, fisbee, they like to swim and want to be with you. She is seeking a home where she can be part of the family. Before you apply for Katisa, please consider the grooming costs for Katisa, at least 4 times a year her coat needs to be stripped at the groomers to avoid the matts and keep her looking like as beautiful on the outside as she is no the inside.
