Twizzler was in a kill shelter, pregnant with 8 pups and she was about to be euthanized when she was rescued by our sister shelter. She was able to give birth and raise her puppies in safety. She’s 2 years old, weighs about 30 lbs and resembles the dog, Win Dixie, from the movie. Like the dog in the movie she’ll bring love happiness and joy to all who meet her. She’s a very special dog whose looking for a loving family of her own. We suggest when she is in her new home situation that you show her where she needs to eliminate and remember your vigilance is essential for her success. This dog is currently at our sister shelter and we anticipate that she will be available at Big Dog Rescue in late March.
