Summer was surrendered to a high kill rate shelter in Lousiana when she became pregnant. She was due to be euthanized when we rescued her. We could not allow her and her unborn pups to be destroyed. The puppies all found homes and it's mama's turn. Summer is good with all other dogs, male and female. She will chase cats. Her smile lights up everyone's day.
