Strauss is a 2-year-old Landseer mix. He weighs about 50 pounds. This handsome boy was rescued from a kill shelter, suffering from neglect and heartworm. Lucky for him, his good behavior was obvious to all who met him. Fate took over, Strauss was rescued, treated for heartworm and is now looking to start a new life with a family that will be willing to continue his heartworm preventative medicine once a month. In return he promises to protect, love and play with all the members of his family. Calm, easy going, he would love to go camping, play in the dog park or agility would be fun too.
