2 years, 55 lbs. Prison trained If you are interested in a dog to go to the dog park, running, biking etc., then Sierra is the dog for you! She’s grown up in a shelter environment so when you first meet her she seems shy. She is a graduate of the prison training program-an intensive 8-week training course where the dog lives with the prisoner/handler. She learns to trust quickly and would thrive in a family with children over 10. She is social with other dogs.
When tested in the cat room at our sister shelter with 2 kittens that were loose, Sierra was extremely interested. This is an indication that she may not do well in a home with cats.
