COURTESY LISTING for AFRP, Knuckles, is a 6 mo old blue merle Australian Shepherd pup. He is the best foster dog I have ever had. He is crate trained and housetrained, good with other dogs and cats. He is great with my 4yr old son, does not jump on him, nor does he herd him. As Knuckles gets older he may develop some of the herding instincts so I recommend children over 8. Knuckles spent six days camping with our family on 500 acres, hiked with us, went quad riding, off leash the whole time, he is not a wanderer. He really enjoys riding in the car and going for walks, playing ball and tug of war with the other dogs. This boy is easy going, low-moderate activity level. I am so bonded with this pup I would really like to keep him, but if I do, I would no longer be able to foster, so I am looking for an extra special forever home for him. UPDATE: Knuckles is totally intolerant to any food containing grain, he is now on a raw meat diet and boy has it helped!
