Collette is 2-year-old black lab mix. She has just completed an intensive training class at the Davis Correctional Facility. The canine student is teamed with a prison inmate trainer. They live with their trainer 24/7 for 8 weeks. After graduation these dogs have developed a strong bond with their trainer and learned to look to humans for leadership. These dogs have excellent manners and will only need gentle encouragement and consistent training to remain the faithful educated companion the training program has worked so hard to inspire.
