Tara came to big Dog Rescue from the Bakersfield Shelter, where she was over looked amongst the 500 dogs or so they house on a regular basis. We saw Tara's picture and something about her told us we should rescue this girl.
 
Tara arrived at the ranch and is just a lovely dog, she is not all that big, 22lbs or so, and has the oddest coat you have seen, partly smooth and partly wirehaired. She is a super happy go lucky young dog, that is great with other dogs, and very playful and affectionate.
 
Tara is going to be a fabulous canine companion.
