Belle is a petite 5lb Chihuahua, about 6 years old. She is currently in a foster home in Novato. Here is what her foster mom has to say about her.

"Belle came to live with our family the day after she had given birth in a central valley shelter. She is a great mother. With all the stress in her life, Belle is still lovable and affectionate. A belly rub a day is a must. She loves to lie on your lap or be held like a baby, in-fact I'm sure she would like to be the baby of the family.  A home with a cat might not work, she likes to chase and bark at our cats.  An ideal family for Belle would be just about anyone that would allow her to spend a lot of time with them. Children need to over 10 probably due to her very small size.  Belle gets along very well with other dogs of all sizes.  During her stay with us, she travels to work with me each day and lays under my desk or on my lap when she gets a chance.  She is also crate trained, house trained, and uses a doggy door."

UPDATE: Belle has said goodbye to her last puppy and will be spayed soon. She's ready to find her forever home. Belle is a great little dog, she is confident, happy and loving.
