Annie is not quite 3yo. In such a short life she has been used and abused as a cash machine by an unscrupulous breeder. When we rescued her she needed to have 2 separate surgeries: a benign tumor the size of a softball on her shoulder and a broken rear leg that had been only partially repaired, they left the plate in for over a year. Normally plates are removed after 3 months, we needed to remove the infected plate and pins since the wound was still open and draining. Although these surgeries sound horrendous we assure you that even going through these uncomfortable procedures she’s had a better life with us than what she had with her prior guardian. Annie has now blossomed into the playful pup she was never allowed to be. She holds no grudges and is truly a wonderful dog.
