Stanley is a pure bred Coonhound puppy. He is eight months old. Sadly, Stanley was hit by a car; his family rushed him to UC Davis to see what could be done for him. He has a hip injury that could fix in time by strict kennel rest 4 to 6 weeks then new x-rays taken to see how best we can help him. That may be FHO or other hip surgery (if he is lucky it will be healed without needing surgery). Stanley's family loved him but could not commit to what Stanley needed for the next few months. They surrendered him to our care, with the knowledge that we will find him a perfect home. At the moment it would be a foster home (remember that foster homes always get FIRST DIBBS on adoptable dogs in our care).
