Rita is a 2+ yr old Chihuahua mix who was found with her puppy in traffic. She was saved and has been in foster ever since. Her puppy has found her forever home and now, following a training and weight loss regimen, she is ready to find hers. She walks well on leash or off-leash and has reasonable recall. She is bright, playful and affectionate once she knows you. She will thrive with someone who provides leadership and love. Being indoors is a recent discovery for Rita, making her a wonderful companion for the working person who has to step away to go to work and can not commit to a high-energy dog. Equal portions of activity and napping are the makings of a great day For Rita. She can be good with all kinds of dogs as she has been in her foster home.
