Scully was rescued from a hoarding situation. He had to be shaved down to remove matts. Nine little dogs lived in a closet covered in feces. That’s how they spent their lives day in and day out. Everything– grass, sky, bird– is a new experience for them, in turn fascinating and terrifying at the same time. They are very shy, some are even fearful of the human touch. We are convinced that with patience and a gentle hand they will learn to trust. Understanding their prior life, the foster home or adoptive parent working calmly will help these young dogs reach their full potential. Scully is getting better every day. In order to adopt Scully we will need potential adopter to visit at least 10 times to build confidence and a relationship with this insecure dog. We highly recommend visiting on a Monday at least once to see the loving trusting bond Scully has with our kennel assistant. This leads us to believe a good trusting relationship will be built if the potential adopter puts in the effort. More about ScullyGood with Dogs, Good with Adults, Requires a yard |
