Here is another black lab. Have you ever heard of the black dog syndrome? Black dogs are the last to get adopted (not just dogs, cats too). This is not because they are bad dogs or for any other reason other than they don’t photograph well and in dark shelters they are over looked. We are trying in our own small way to turn the Black dog syndrome around. 

We think black dogs are beautiful, just look into their eyes; you will see their strength, their beauty and their desire to please. You just need to look a little longer or maybe a little deeper.

Beau is a young, strong athletic pup looking for a similar partner with whom to go running, swimming and just hang out. Beau could live with a family or be equally happy with a single, active person that has the time to spend with him and not leave him in a yard all day. He is learning how to be a great K9 good citizen. Does Beau sound like a dog with which you would be proud to share your home? Beau is not a dog park dog at the moment, he has no manners with other dogs.
we are sure he will learn to live and play with other dogs.
