Labrador Retriever (medium coat) : : Male (neutered) : : Young : : Large
Meet A.J. He is a young, super lovable yellow lab. He gets along with other dogs and loves people. Cuddling is a favorite pastime. He was rescued from a chain link fence where he was stuck by his feet. As he has been at BDR, we have noticed a funny gait and weird balance issues. We took him to UC Davis and they think there is something neurological going on. The first step is an MRI. Then possible surgery if he can be fixed. This is a huge expense and outside of our regular medical budget. We attached the estimate so you can see what we are dealing with. So we are asking for help. We are asking for donations for A.J.'s MRI to start. We will have to figure out what is next after that. You can donate by using our PayPal on our website, homelesshounds.us, or send checks, make sure you designate A.J. on your donations. We appreciate all the help given to BDR, from volunteers to these special donations, and everything in between. Thank you! A.J. is a great dog.
