Nelson is a very smart shepherd mix. Nelson weighs 35 lbs. He enjoys learning and is always quick to figure things out. He is a little under a year so he still has puppy energy and playfulness. Squeaky toys are his favorite toys—he loves to make them squeak. He also is a swimmer!  Nelson would be a great companion for an active household!  He is smaller than a shepherd at around 35 pounds. And is crate trained. He enjoys the companionship of other dogs and kids. Beautiful eyes!

Yet again he is another dog that has never lived in a home and is very loving and well mannered. He grew up at our sister shelter since he was 8 weeks old.  We are thankful to the volunteers that were able to offer him love and companionship at the shelter.
