Kia Lani was found protecting her puppies (see Roo, Ned, Possom and Matilda). The entire family were living in a woodpile trying to survive. This gentle giant weighs 80 lbs. and is underweight She needs to put on about 15 lbs. At present she is very shy. Given what has happened to her, I don't blame her for taking her time to trust new people.She has a gentle heart and with direction and kindness she will become the dog thatshe was meant to be Smart, loving, playful, trusting and hopefully very happy. She will be altered with the next few weeks when she has gained some weight.
